If you like a flashy chestnut with chrome, this girl is for you whether your goals are in the hunter or dressage ring.....with the option of an alternative or later career as a producer of horses for both disciplines as well! Opulence has the super amateur friendly temperament that her late sire, Parcival, is known for. She was as easy as they come to start, straightforward and willing, with smooth comfortable gaits. She was bred in 2022 to Connaisseur, producing the 'dream dressage baby' for her owner. She caught first try on frozen and had an uncomplicated pregnancy. Later that summer we lightly started her under saddle and she never put a foot wrong! After doing a great job foaling and raising her colt, she has just been re-started back into work and is available to be tried. While currently unfit, she is reliably safe and obedient, a quick learner, and has a great work ethic. Parcival offspring have been well-proven in the hunter circuits, and we introduced to Opulence to freejumping. Despite her largely dressage-based pedigree, she was not only confident but showed good scope and form, learning the job quickly and sensibly.
Opulence stands 16.2hh, and was not bred in 2023. Her type and movement could be developed toward either dressage or hunter, her showy good looks but workmanlike temperament will make her a barn favourite and a winner in either ring!
