This guy is THE horse for anyone who prioritizes safe and fun, and wants a no-nonsense low maintenance mount in a small sturdy package! We have raised Handsome since he was a yearling, and he has become a proper solid citizen, well mannered, lives in or out, can be turned out with anyone. He took to training like he was born broke, and within just a few days was hacking happily around the farm. Handsome is now going under saddle at walk, trot and canter. At just 15.1hh, he is still very obviously growing and will take time to develop fitness and balance, but he is willing and always tries his best! He is now learning the concepts of contact, bend, and moving away from the leg. Expected to finish no more than 15.3hh, he's already a go-anywhere horse, happy to go for a walk or a (slow!) gallop around the open fields and trails. The Canadian breed is known for their toughness, intelligence, and versatility, and Handsome is a true representative of the breed. Show him off in the dressage ring, enjoy a lazy hack on the trails or camping trip , or take him for a spin in the hunt field or around some eventing competitions.....and I bet he'd look classy hitched up to drive! Whatever you do, this lovable guy will be happy to do it with you!
